It's been a few days since the last blog, things have been quiet in the land of MICP. The 12th here is a little different to home, nothing much happened apart from another beautiful sunset across the pond.

We did manage to find an Orange Lily in the Griffin garden, though it did look a little the worse for wear,

and just room for a random pineapple pic before the main news of the day,

The 13th was Car Wash Day, we all headed to the VIP at Saco who kindly let us use their car park. Things were slow to start with but we managed to get a few cars cleaned early on,

All watched over by Tony, Susan and Bruce's dog,

Tony travelled to the car wash with me, much better company than Phyllis!!!
With business slow we resorted to some random advertising gimmicks, firstly the Oirish Leprachaun trick,

and when that didn't work then the tried and tested girls-in-shorts trick

We resorted to washing our own cars, and I got pix from inside our car as it got cleansed,

We were still short of punters so the marketing team got on the ball again and decided on the tattooed man approach,

Don't worry it's permanent marker so it should wear off before he is 30. Good to know that the workouts are paying off Scott.
Next up we tried the girls-in-bikini, I know it's an old one but hey we were desperate for passing trade.

Who needs tattoos!!!!!!
Still business was slow but we did pull in $225 so it was a worthwhile event in the end.
Afterwards we headed to the King home to celebrate (1 day late) Kevin W's birthday, we gave him our pressie,

He was pleased, yes he was, look at that happy smile....
He got cards,

People had fun,

They played games

They messed around in Kevin's impossibly neat bedroom,

There was ice cream for the Birthday Boy,

and cake,

and a great rendition of Happy Birthday,

The only slight disappointment was that no one thought to buy him that dress he tried on in Boston!!!!

What a wonderful party, thanks to the King's generosity for hosting it,
